Todi, Orvieto, Amelia form a triangle of undeniable beauty and uniqueness. Suffice it to think that first Italics people settled down in this zone. "Umbrorum gens antiqussima Italiae" (Plinio NH III, 112).
This is a series of typically medieval villages with characteristics and natural resources that has arrived up to our century almost intact and without any form of industrialisation or crime. They are not seismic zones that have been discovered for few years from a narrow elite of important personalities of the show business, cultural and political world. Not by chance an authoritative research made by the University of Kentucky concludes that Umbria is the place where there is the highest standard of living.Few regions all over the world are so full of values more and more desired and rare in everyday life like space, quiet and time: three peculiar characteristics of this region. It is a boundless but not infinite living space because changes continuously, that is characterised now by green hills, outlined by weak trees, now by mountains with clefts, streams, and fascinating falls.
Here there's a love for time that one built for people, full but calm, that is everyday life and history. But above all a rediscovery of the quiet: in the hermitages and on the Sibylline Mounts, of the woods or tablelands, but also in the small arts towns and in the villages scattered everywhere; this quiet is respect and awareness of oneself and of the others. These three perspectives, that living "elsewhere" we are afraid we have lost, are the predominant features that Umbria Resort wanted to emphasise choosing his accommodations. A choice aimed at underlining, among many possibilities, the most essential image of places where, amid the everyday tensions, we can discover the pleasures of the life.
  Visiting us...

  • In Spring: visiting Umbria in spring means breathing an atmosphere full of scents and pleasant feelings. Green Umbria, in this season more than ever, welcomes tourists giving them many opportunities to identify with a nature still intact and, in some way, wild and fascinating.
  • In Summer: spending a day in the open air, in a competition, in a fair with many good things to eat, arrives the summer with its emotions and colours. This is the season of the yellow barley, of the ochre sunflowers, of the bright green pastures full of flowers that scent the air.
  • In Autumn: it will be unforgettable walking in the just cultivated fields, in the oak, chestnut and holm-oak groves, that in this season yield their better fruits: delicious porcini mushrooms, and excellent truffles enlarge the gastronomic choice of this season.
  • In Winter: in this season Umbria has a great charm. It's wonderful clustering around the fireplace, but it's equally pleasant wandering about the alleys in Todi, Amelia and Orvieto looking about the old shops in vague search of something that represents all this world.
